The Lee Trio is committed and dedicated to education. The group visits schools and conferences to connect with students, parents, and music teachers. The non-profit music group also gives performances and masterclasses free of charge to students and the communities.

Lee Trio Biography
Formed in September 2017, the dynamic Lee Trio is comprised of faculty members from the Lee University School of Music – Xiaoqing Yu (violin), Theodore Kartal (cello), and Muen Wei (piano). The Lee Trio advocates cross-cultural unity through music and its members serve as an artistic ambassadors for music education between the US and Asia. The Lee Trio has appeared in concerts and masterclasses in North America and Asia, and their performances have won them popularity with large popular audiences as well as educational institutions. Summer concert tours in 2018/2019 have taken the group to Bangkok (Thailand), Hua-Hin, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi (Vietnam), Lanzhou, Dongying, Chongqing, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shanghai, Rizhao, Qingdao (China), and Pusan, (South Korea). In the summer of 2022, the Lee Trio will return to Asia after a long pandemic for another concert tour, sharing exhilarating music and music programs of Lee University on world stage.
